Happy 4th of July with Fourth of July decor

Summertime, parades, sparklers and patriotism ....what is not to love about the 4th of July?  However, it always sneaks up on me.  You too?The summer seems to just have started and before we have even polished off our first watermelon ~ it is July!  Flags are in my urns by the front door and our big flag will go up tomorrow.  But I need more Fourth of July decor, so I "shopped" my attic & Etsy shop for red, white & blue treasures.  Here are some special Fourth of July home decor items I wanted to share with you...Can you tell how pretty these buntings are?!  Each is made from vintage handkerchiefs.  We search for lovely hankies in excellent condition, then have fun laying them out to see which patterns work best together.  Right now we have two 9 foot red, white & blue beauties in the shop.  Talk about unique Fourth of July decor!Danalynn, my Etsy partner and crafter extraordinaire, gently washes, irons & sews the buntings.  It is wonderful to be able to give new purpose to these dainty bits of history.  Imagine the lady or young girl who carried one in her purse or pocket.
