I love a field trip!

Recently I took a field trip to IKEA all the name of research for the podcast.

When we decided to create a podcast episode on finds from Ikea, my intention was to look, not buy.  I was on a "research" only assignment.

Well, with a shopping full cart filled to the brim and a dolly carting a table, "research" assignment complete!

I fell for IKEA hard.  Gleefully sharing my curated finds with all of the Decorating Tips & Tricks listeners.

I really thought I was the only one ...

The only person who had never darkened the doorway of that big blue box.

The last person, not living off the grid, that didn't have at least one IKEA item. 

Reading the comments to the video, I see there are lots of IKEA virgins out there!  What have we been waiting for?

It's not just particle board bookcases!  IKEA has some fabulous accessories ~ awesome prices and is doing good while producing great design for all.

The company is striving toward a goal of total renewable & recycled materials for all products by 2030.
