Backyard Decor - getting there & a SALE

I was compensated for this post, but my opinions and backyard dreams are all my own.

Now that the inside restoration is nearing completion and the front gardens are planted we are turning our attention to the backyard.

And ~ wow ~does it need attention!  

But even this state is a vast improvement over when we went under contract to buy the house.

YIKES - I must be nuts, right?

We have come SO far, the back yard should be a breeze.

Probably, but we do have a time constraint - a certain 16 year old has her heart set on a birthday dinner for 40 or so of her closest girlfriends in one month.

I need to get moving on this project! Then the menu, the flowers, the table setting...

So when Pier One asked me to check out their outdoor furniture sale I jumped on it.

I want the back yard furnishings to flow with the rest of the house, be very comfortable, gorgeous - and on SALE!

This is what I found at Pier One...

All weather wicker Echo Beach collection fits the bill - goes with the flow, very comfortable, gorgeous & on SALE!

I love the multi toned all weather wicker and the ivory outdoor cushions, but I am not a blue girl.  

I would choose black lumber pillows.

These black outdoor pillows I will mix in with some burlap & vintage pillows.  I think that will look fantastic!  It will also carry thru the exterior colors and the vibe from inside.

Adding to the flow will be this stunning golden lantern.  

Love a bit of bling with my farmhouse so gold accents run throughout the interior. ( psst...the lantern is on clearance! )

 'Cause it gonna get hot out there & we are having a party after all, I think this galvanized standing beverage tub is a must have!

Oh and let's toss in this tray...it is on clearance too!

Yes, I do have my work cut out for me, but the furnishings are now all picked out.  Working on grass & some pavers.

Oh & that ocean view...does that come with the furniture?
