Some days are more fun than others.

Some more relaxing.

Some busier.

And some luckier.

I had a lucky day on March 16th.

Between appointments I found myself with a bit of time, while bookended by a Good Will to the left and the hospital thrift shop to the right.

Got that kid in a candy store feeling just thinking about rummaging thru for an hour.

Which one first?  To the left...

Five white pitchers, a top-less tureen, a pretty dish, a small white fluted bowl, a gravy boat, espresso saucer, two baking dishes, a basket weave cache' pot & two gold rimmed pots later, I turned to the right...

Passing the car I loaded up my treasures & off to the Good Will… this one is hit or miss, usually miss, so my expectations were measured.  Plus, I was already happy with my haul for $22 - no tax & free bags!

Stopped in my tracks & my heart raced.

Isn't it funny how that happens when you are "hunting".

Do you see what I saw?

An mint condition O'Keefe & Merritt stove!

Scanning the enamel quickly for chips & any indications it had already been sold.  All clear!

Pounced on the super mellow cashier for a hold tag!

My stove is being delivered on Friday...

What am I going to do with it?

You'll see - we, me too, just have to be patient.

I am NOT good at that, are you?

Hope you are having a lucky day!
